Rotisserie restored, #s match, original metal and documented. Very rare and desirable Matador red. We have a binder of receipts. Most parts from Ames performance, they deal in quality Pontiac only parts. Another binder is full of restoration pictures from start to finish. It also has Pontiac Historical papers proving how it was born.


EXTERIOR: The body was stripped down to a bare shell and put on a rotisserie. It has its original floors, quarters etc. It’s straight as an arrow, the body gaps are all square and flush. There’s no rust or damage. The rubber bumper fits real. The Judge included a rear spoiler. The scoops on the hood are functional. This one has the optional hood tachometer too. The stripe colors really work well with the red. Repainted it’s original Matador red without a vinyl top. Overall a smooth glossy finish, minor imperfections if you look for them. The jambs are painted slick. The grills are blacked out on a Judge. This one has 4 correct T-3 headlights. The windshield was replaced. Bumper is rechromed, handles, mirrors, emblems were replaced. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. Correctly restored rally ll wheels with the correct center lug nuts. There were no trim rings on a Judge. The tires are reproduction radial redlines that look like polyglass.

INTERIOR: Inside this car is practically like new. The dash pad is pristine. New vents, bezels, knobs and heater control panel look new. It has factory gauges and clock. Original radio, the dial is faded. New deluxe steering wheel. The center console is new with a Hurst shifter. The Judge has a T-handle shift knob and Judge emblem on the glovebox. The carpet was replaced and has reproduction mats. Full set of reproduction GM seatbelts. The seats have new cushions and upholstery. The trim on the bucket seats was replaced. Side panels, window cranks, armrests were replaced. Overhead the headliner, visors and mirror look new, dome light works. Under the dash is a knob to open and close the ram air. There is an owner’s manual in the glove box.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching Ram Air lll 400-366 hp. Rebuilt and balanced, we have the receipt. It has a restored number # matching carb, ram air exhaust manifolds, complete ram air system and correct chrome valve covers. All the components look new like the alternator, wiper motor, power steering, cadmium plated brake booster etc. The wiring harness is new. It has reproduction hoses and clamps, spring clamp battery cables. All the painted finishes are smooth and neat. It’s detailed like factory new.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal neatly spatter painted. The bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted glossy. It has new mat, weatherstrip and tire cover. Complete with jack and spare.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame. The entire chassis was taken apart, sandblasted and painted. It was put back together with completely rebuilt suspension and steering. This has the ride and handling package which includes sway bars and boxed rear control arms. The exhaust has crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and stainless tips. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, sending units and lines. The brakes were rebuilt, it has disc in front. E-brake assembly is all there, hoses and lines were replaced. Bottom of the motor is spotless, fuel pump and starter look new. The 4-speed trans is clean as a whistle built. The drive shaft is rebuilt. It has a correct 3.55 posi rear end. The body was flipped on a rotisserie so the floors were prepped and painted a nice semi gloss black, there’s no rust at all.

Of course I see a lot of cars. When I first saw this Judge in red I immediately liked it and thought it is rare. I was told 17 were made but that’s not documented. It’s a rare, desirable car that has been through a rotisserie restoration. It’s also priced real fair considering what they have been bringing at auction. Great investment you can enjoy. It’s a win win win win!
